Families welcome!

Coding Kingdom is a fun experience for youth age six and up to freely explore coding and robotics. At Coding Kingdom, students are inspired to create by using video-based, Hour of Code tutorials to complete coding objectives, following online modules to program a robot or reviewing coding cards to make their own programs. All activities are hands-on using visual, block-based programming languages Blockly or Scratch.

There is no formal instruction or presentation at Coding Kingdom. Similar to an expo or fair, families can come and go as they please and students can freely move between activities, making their own decisions on how much time they want to spend at the different stations.

No registration required. Come as you please.

The Hour of Code is a nationwide initiative by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org to introduce millions of students to one hour of computer science and computer programming.
Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab and is available for free at scratch.mit.edu.

YouthCode is a program of Impacting The Next Generation Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
