Python is a great starting text-based, object-oriented language for youth as it has a gentle learning curve, is concise and easy to read, and has lots of available documentation and learning resources from a robust community. It is also a good language to have in any coder’s portfolio as it can be used for everything from web development to software development and scientific applications.
In this YouthCode coding camp, students age nine or above will extend basic computer science principles and coding skills while creating programs in Python.
